Gates of Dawn - Print or Poster

It's very early spring, before there are leaves or even blossoms on the trees. The sun hasn't quite risen. Melting snow fills the air with fog. And there, in the breathless hush, you come upon Hern, with his stag horns piercing the sky, calling in the Dawn. This image has always been with me, and always given me chills. In 1998 I built it using Bryce, Poser, Onyx Tree Pro, and Photoshop. My husband, Michael, posed for the arm, hair, and beard. The rest is the software, and a memory from a dream.
