Ia Orana Maria (We Hail Thee Mary) is a colourful Madonna work from the artist’s first Tahitian period. Mary is depicted as a Tahitian woman wearing a red sarong with white flowers as the baby Jesus sits serenely on her shoulder, both mother and sun are adorned with gold halos. Two worshippers stand nearby with an angel in a pink dress and blue and yellow wings bowing behind them. Colourful red and green tropical fruit sits on the table in the foreground. Really lovely product, both sides came out perfectly. Would not recommend the Metallic sheen for this one personally as it dims the photos a little bit but it does make the rest of it look very nice if you dont mind the photos so much. Very satisfied with the quality of the photos - no pixelation. The back of the invitation turned out really nice too.
