Geometry to sustain itself glass coaster

This work is constructed as a perceptual structure rather than as an object. A system of planes, cuts and voids that refers to an internal architecture, where space is not neutral and displacement is not automatic. The white does not act as a void, but as a refuge, as a sensory survival. It is the only plane that relieves, that allows one to stop, to remain —to sit, if one imagines it— and reorganize perception. Faced with structures that order and tense, these spaces function as support and constitute places where the body and mind stop fighting against space. They are moments of suspension within a demanding geometry. The work speaks of adaptation. Of learning to move differently, to stop more, to read the space with other times. Of inhabiting instability without denying it, building balance from the pause.
