A German Räucherman (Smoker Man) incense burner, in this case depicting a wood cutter, superimposed on an old paper background image. Italian text reading "Buon Natale" (Merry Christmas) also appears. Add your own additional text. The burning of incense in smokers symbolises the gift of incense brought to Jesus by the Three Wise Men. Smokers first appeared around 1850 near Heidelberg. Many figures from everyday are used as a motif: salesmen, bakers, foresters, miners, chimney sweepers, Santa Claus, etc.
