Giant Pandas Holiday Card

Two loveable giant pandas are feasting on bamboo in the winter with a gentle snow falling. The giant panda is one of the world's rarest mammals and unless in captivity, can only be found high in the rainy mountains of China. The panda eats mostly bamboo shoots and leaves. A relative of the bear, there are only about 1,600 thought to be in the wild. Currently 300 pandas live in zoos and breeding centres around the world, mostly in China with the eventual long-term goal of removing them from the endangered species list. Fun fact about pandas in captivity - Birthday cakes are often made and offered to pandas for fun on their special day.
