Young Girl Defending Herself Against Eros (1880) by Bouguereau is a vintage Victorian mythology fine art realist portait painting. A portraiture of Eros or Cupid, the god of love, trying to put an arrow into her heart. The boy with wings has a mischievous look on his face and although the title suggests the girl might be in danger she is smiling while fending him off. About the artist: William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825-1905) was an academic painter of realism and staunch traditionalist whose realistic style and mythological themes were modern interpretations of classical subjects.

My daughter in law loved this gift. She loved the shorter length and the pockets. Good durable fabric and well made. Would highly recommend. The printing was awesome.. the only comment I would make is that the print could be placed higher on the bib part as when it is tied around the waist you can’t see the writing well.
