The famous Girl with a Pearl Earring painting, now remixed with this beatiful geometric collage design. The original painting was made by the dutch artist Johannes Vermeer in 1665. In 1991 novelist Tracy Chevalier wrote a historical novel named after the painting fictionalising the circumstances of the painting's creation. The novel inspired a 2003 film with Scarlett Johansson as the girl portraited and Colin Firth as the painter, Veermer. The saga of this iconic painting didn't stop here, even the street artist Banksy recreated the artwork replacing the earring with an alarm box, naming the artwork Girl with a Pierced Eardrum. I needed arrows for a D.I.Y. "mini bowling alley" made up of foam tiles with a wood grain pattern. I didn't want to use a marker so I tried these. They do the trick! Nice solid black color. Does not smear when handled.

The stickers are small but the color and glossy finish was excellent. I had to rotate the picture until it was upside down so that the picture could fit in the triangle, so don't let the upside down picture discourage you from customizing your own stickers. The colors are nothing but black and white which is not a problem at tall. The glossy finish just made the stickers even better. Overall, the quality of the stickers are great!
