This lovely romantic image is from the early 1900s when women often chose to be photographed in romantic poses, often with horses! This card was made using an image from a real-photo postcard from the early 1900s. It shows a young woman decked out in a hat and a plaid scarf with an elegant horse. Check out the hand tinting on the woman's clothing and the browband of the bridle! I scanned this image from an original hand-tinted postcard and then retouched it to bring it back to its original glory.
