Girls Pretending to be Horses on the Beach Card
This design features a painting by the English artist Frederick Morgan (1847–1927). It shows a group of young children having fun at the seaside on a beach. Two girls are walking together on the beach; they are holding hands and playfully pretending to be horses pulling a cart, as a boy holds ropes like reins behind them. He is leading them onwards. There is seaweed on the beach, and some piles of rocks. There are some small waves coming in from the sea. The original artwork was painted in 1894.
