On May 22nd 2008, over 2000 people were stretched for 3 miles between the Royal Albert Hall and the Chinese Embassy. A handshake initiated by the Dalai Lama himself was passed between the chain of people arrive simultaneously with a 1.67 million strong Avaaz petition for meaning dialogue between China and the Dalai Lama.
