Glastonbury Tor - Gothic Avalon T-Shirt
Glastonbury Tor was truly a remarkable place to visit! I'm told the legends of that great hill in Somerset are numerous, but probably the most well known one is that this great hill is the mystical Avalon from the legends of King Arthur. Sure enough in times long past, the great tor used to be an island in a marshy landscape. This was before the farmer's drained the fields. The tower on the top, St. Michael's Tower, is of late mediaeval pedigree but unrelated to the Arthurian Legends. It's all that remains of a church that once stood there, but it creates a truly Gothic feeling looming there doesn't it?
Glastonbury Tor featured heavily in the opening ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympic opening ceremonies. It was also seen very briefly in the conclusion to the recent BBC series, Merlin.

I found the shirt quality itself to be well made. Unfortunately I found that the image quality of the artwork is low resoultion. So the art and words aren't as clear. I probably wont buy another shirt to be honest, but I'm glad I supported the podcast of which I'm a fan of. I was just hoping that for the price I paid, it would have been of better quality.

this was good quality and perfect colour. Printing was great although when we all opened our secret santa gifts one of the other mechanics commented whoever got that for him missed out part time after the word mechanic
