Azimuthal Equidistant is proud to now feature a new revision of Alexander Gleason's NEW STANDARD MAP OF THE WORLD printed on quality canvas in high-resolution (the Boston Library stamp has been removed too).
As Mr. Gleason stated on his 'patented' map of 1892, it is "AS IT IS", meaning the Earth is in fact a flat plane that is stationary. As he illustrated, the Sun and the Moon revolve around and above us everyday; and the stars revolve around Polaris, the North Star which never moves and is always without fail directly above the North Pole.
Most people were taught as you were likely from a baby that we're spinning around on ball Earth; information which was further burned into our minds with paintings and movies of space and the so called planets (which are in fact wandering stars as our ancestors knew).Think about it, water always lies flat. And funny enough, the word 'horizon' derives from the word 'horizontal'.

Very impressive product! The canvas is sturdily made. It features a saw tooth hanger on the back, making it easy to "try out" the canvas in several rooms until I found the best location. It attracts good comments from my friends. I love it! The printing is wonderful! Colors are as bright and crisp as they appeared on the website.
