This print depicts an eerily illuminated wilting flower. The flower has lost all its petals and the stem is bent from dehydrating under the heat of the sweltering summer sun. The leaves are still intact, though they have begun to shrivel as a defense mechanism against the harshness of the changing seasons. The black abyss background makes the image at once haunting and elegant, leaving us to ponder the reality of the rest of the dying flower's environment.
