My pastor shared with us how being thankful is key to backsliding. She shared how her pastor kept a card that listed 10 things he was thankful to God for. When times were bad, when he was feeling down, he'd take it out and go through the list, remembering each answered prayer, each rescue, each blessing from God. By the time he'd reach the end of the list, his heart would be filled with joy once again. I hope this card helps you and your brothers and sisters in Christ.
