A Great Blue Heron, perching at the top of a tree during nesting season. Herons build their nests 20 to 60 feet above the ground. I was lucky to capture this image of the heron keeping watch over its nearby nest at the Sterling Nature Centre in Sterling, New York, June 1st, 2018. The light was perfect for making this shot a silhouette. This version features a large heron silhouette on the back, and a smaller heron silhouette on the front of the shirt.

I found the shirt quality itself to be well made. Unfortunately I found that the image quality of the artwork is low resoultion. So the art and words aren't as clear. I probably wont buy another shirt to be honest, but I'm glad I supported the podcast of which I'm a fan of. I was just hoping that for the price I paid, it would have been of better quality.
