Great Lakes freighter Carl D. Bradley Poster

The steamship Carl D. Bradley broke in two and sank in a November storm in 1958 on Lake Michigan, taking 33 of her 35 crew members with her. Of the dead, 23 were from the same small town of Rogers City, Michigan. Like a later, much more famous shipwreck, Bradley was for many years "Queen of the Lakes" owing to her size.
