The Greater Farallones Association (GFA) preserves the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, a federally-protected region encompassing nearly 3,300 square miles of coastal waters and open ocean off the California coast. GFA works to sustain a healthy and resilient ocean through education, science and community-based conservation. We empower citizens to take a hands-on role in conserving Sanctuary waters and coastlines.
