Greeting Card-Thinking of you-Lemony White Zinnia Card

The zinnia plant, both flowers and leaves, were used by many southwestern tribes as medicinal and ritual herbs. Some have said that the Navajo tribe considers the zinnia one of the sacred life medicines. Still other, Pueblo, tribes are thought to believe the zinnia a symbol of wisdom. The zinnia, itself, is representative of lasting friendship, constancy and affection. The white zinnia, specifically, is symbolic of goodness. Until 1957, when it was replaced by the peony, the zinnia also had the distinction of being Indiana's State Flower.
