Greetings from Orange Beach, AL Postcard

Order these before you leave for Orange Beach so you can relax along the coast and watch the Alabama wildlife (both animal and human) that surrounds you. This was almost a picture that didn't happen. While I was taking shots of the gorgeous sunset, I saw this fellow fly in, looking for crabs to eat. Just as I was moving in to take my shots of him, I heard two small children pounding up the beach behind me squawking about the big bird. Thankfully, their mum caught them before they could scare the heron away. Thank goodness for small favours!
