About This Design

Grindle Point Lighthouse Jigsaw Puzzle

Grindle Point Lighthouse puzzle. This jigsaw puzzle features Grindle Point Lighthouse gleaming in the late morning sun of a spring day in Islesboro, Maine. The painting uses a brilliant palette of blues, greens, greys, and oranges to create a beautiful, calm view of the unique square lighthouse tower and lightkeeper’s house. The working lighthouse, erected in 1874, warns sailors to steer clear of the rocky shallows between Gilkey Harbour and West Penobscot Bay. Colourful orange, white, and blue stones shine in the foreground, a testament to the Maine island's rough coastline. Situated to the left of the lighthouse, a 1,000-pound hand-rung warning bell reflects the deep blue of the water and slate-grey rocks below.

Lighthouse Michigan puzzle is a print of the Big Sable Lighthouse in Luddington, Mi where my son and is wife got engaged years ago so I thought, what a wonderful anniversary gift. The puzzle was a little challenging but lots of fun to do. The puzzle pieces are outstanding and the colors are bright. I highly recommend . The print (16 x 20) is very clear and has depth, it makes you fel like you're there. I put it in an old barnwood frame which represents driftwood and It looks great. Highly recommend.
