Oil on canvas from 1908, this Art Nouveau painting shows two lovers embraced in a passionate kiss on a bed of flowers. The Kiss is probably Gustav Klimt’s most famous work from his Gold Period, which was chraacterised by the use of gold leaf in his paintings.
