Haida Double Thunderbird Native American Art T-Shirt

This design is a reproduction of a classic late 1800s Pacific Northwest Native American [probably Haida or Tlingit] Double Thunderbird totem pole motif. This is an ancient traditional shamanic design was carefully copied and recorded in a late 1800s U.S. government "ethnology" study of the Northwest Coast indigenous tribes. The Thunderbird symbolises power, protection and strength. The Thunderbird is also believed to be one of the the most powerful of all aboriginal spirits with the ability to remove its mask and feathers enabling it to change into human form.
