As many as 100,000 young people from around the world flocked to San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district during the summer of 1967, including nearby Berkeley and other neighbouring San Francisco Bay Area cities, to join in the ultimate hippie experience. In Golden Gate Park one could obtain free food, drugs and love. A free medical clinic was established and a free store gave away basic necessities to anyone who needed them. This design commemorates the event inspired by a Zazzle friend. PEACE!!

I love this style shirt. I bought the men's instead of the women's because I didn't want it to be 'fitted' as all the women's shirts are. This one came a bit big, but it shrunk to perfect in the dryer, as I had hoped. So do buy one size larger than you want. The design and printing were both fabulous. It is not a dreaded iron-on and I anticipate it will last for a very long while. I've washed & dried it a few times now with no fading of the design at all. Happy camper.
