This Bar Mitzvah greeting features a funny cartoon rabbi wishing you a happy bar mitzvah. On the back side there's some fine Jewish humour. The rabbi is dressed in formal orthodox jewish clothes and hat. He has a long white beard and Peyes Sidecurls, worn by some religious jews. According to Jewish law, when Jewish children reach 13 years old for boys and 12 years old for girls they become responsible for their actions, and "become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah" (Daughter (Bat) or Son (Bar) of the commandments) In Orthodox Jewish observance, the occasion of becoming a Bar Mitzvah involves the young man being called to read the Torah, a Haphtarah portion, or both at a Shabbat or other service.

We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter.
I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
