This classic design includes a portion of Megillat Esther, the Scroll of Esther, that is read every Purim before the festivities begin. It is a happy holiday, commemorating the wit and courage of Esther and Mordechai and how they saved the Jews from the evil machinations of Haman. On one side of the mug the words, Purim Sameach, are printed in fanciful font. You can, however, change the wording if you prefer.
