This Happy Retro Parents Stretched Canvas Print shows a mum and dad rejoicing as their child makes a dash for the school bus. The celebrating duo are in their 1960's style, mid century modern, living room. The orange decor is anything but understated. There is turquoise, cone fireplace and a bright, blue, egg chair against an orange, stone wall. On the wall, there is Mid Century Modern Globe Art Stretched Canvas Print, which is available from StrangeLittleOnion's own Zazzle store. On the floor, there is a blue and black portable record player with several vinyl albums scattered nearby. Dad, is wearing a black suit with a light blue dress shirt and darker blue tie. He is breaking out all of his best dance moves--the kind that would bring eye rolls from junior. Mum is wearing a vibrant, green dress and a flouncy, white apron with blue trim. She is standing in front of sliding glass doors cheerfully waving as her child runs down the front sidewalk towards the waiting yellow school bus. Through the doors, we can see their perfectly manicured, suburban lawn and proverbial, white picket fence. Even the background looks happy with a turquoise sky and the silhouettes of cedar trees. Very impressive product! The canvas is sturdily made. It features a saw tooth hanger on the back, making it easy to "try out" the canvas in several rooms until I found the best location. It attracts good comments from my friends. I love it! The printing is wonderful! Colors are as bright and crisp as they appeared on the website.
