忍: Shinobi/Nin, refers to ninja, or endure, endurance. 服部派半蔵正成: Hattori Hanzo Masanari, the famous samurai that served Tokugawa Ieyasu in sengoku jidai. 臨兵鬥者皆陣列前行: The Kuji kiri (九字切り), or the Nine Cuts, is a practice of using hand gestures in religous practice and some time martial arts and ninjutsu.
In the background is the kamon (family crest) of Hattori family, 車に矢筈 (Kuruma ni yahazu ), or Arrowhead in wheel.
