The dream (1910) by French Naïvist painter Henri Rousseau.
The dream is the largest of Rousseau's jungle paintings and also his last completed work. It features an almost surreal portrait of Yadwigha, Rousseau's Polish mistress from his youth. She's lying on a divan, gazing over a landscape of lush jungle foliage, including lotus flowers, and animals including birds, monkeys, an elephant, a lion and lioness, and a snake. Yadwigha's left arm reaches towards the lions and a black snake charmer, barely visible in the gloom of the jungle under the dim light of the full moon. The snake slithers through the undergrowth, its sinuous form reflecting the curves of the woman's hips and leg.

I was given a small budget to decorate a free clinic. I ordered many of the posters from Zazzle because I could select various sizes that fit frames we could re-purpose. The quality of the printing is fine and there's a wide selection of subjects and styles to choose from. The paper quality on most of the items I ordered was decent. For some reason, though, the Ibis poster on "Perfect Poster (Glossy Finish)" is on very flimsy paper. It'll look fine when framed, but I would upgrade the paper choice if I did this over again. The image quality, colors, and printing quality were fine -exactly what I expected.

I love this calendar! The colors are rich and beautiful and the weight of the paper is perfect. It's not too thin. I hung it with a bit of double-sided tape and it lays flat to the wall. It looks great in my kitchen. It's perfect. The printing is bright and the colors are perfect.
