Yet another fantastic find from the artist’s estate, a mid-19th century print of King Henry the 8th and his ill-fated second wife Anne Boleyn. The original print was dry as a bone, and I feared it would fall apart in my scanner. But it did survive, the original colours are still SO bright, and it’s all good. Plus it looks simply maahvelous on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including postcards. By the way, my shop has HUNDREDS of items printed with images of his daughter, Queen Elizabeth I. Wanna see more old?
