Heron Territory Cushion

A real "Feather" Pillow! The great blue heron, in the original photograph by MaeFlowers on this 16” Throw Pillow, is puffing up his feathers as he walks towards another heron, an invader in his territory. The photo is a closeup of the wild bird's body in profile, showing the long, thin plumage rising at the top, and the wider wing feathers underneath. The heron's body is a soft bluish grey colour, with the blue coming out in the sunlight. There are black feathers on the curve of the wing, with a touch of reddish brown and white. The background is at water's edge, with a dark, almost black reflection. With its grey/black colouring and graphic look, this pillow makes an excellent accent piece in modern decor.
