Hey Bubu! 7.5 Cm Round Badge

Armando Castellanos, Project Manager of the Andean Bear Project and Andean Bear expert, has widely published his research and experience with Andean Bears in both English and Spanish. He has kindly given permission to use his photograph of Bubu, our store’s namesake, to help spread the word of this bear’s rehabilitation and eventual release. Bubu was born in April 2009. His mother was killed when he was a small cub and he was kept in a very unsuitable place until he was rescued. He will soon be taken to Yanahurco, a beautiful ranch on the high paramo of Ecuador and acclimated there for release.
