This design features a painting by the Russian artist Nicholas Roerich (1874–1947). It shows a landscape in the Himalayas, which are a mountain range in Asia separating the plains of the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau. Roerich was very interested in Indian spirituality and visited India to learn more about these teachings. The original painting is now housed in the Roerich Museum, Moscow, Russia.
