Historically African-American Towns in Oklahoma T-Shirt
The original was a tapestry, but I made sure to photograph it so that Oklahoma and African-American history lovers can have this image on cards, postcards, magnets, and anything else! Spontaneous embroidery featured throughout the state and a scissortail silhouette is in the left corner. Buttons mark general locations of existing cities that traditionally was founded by African-Americans, while small black beads mark towns that no longer exist or are not incorporated.
