Taken in 1920, it shows Renown anchored at Melbourne during while the battleship was tasked with ferrying the Prince of Wales during his tour of Australasia. This retro-style poster would be a lovely gift for anyone fond of the Royal Navy, ships, naval history, or nautical themes in general!
Ship History: Commissioned in 1916, HMS Renown was the lead ship of her class, and was the world's fastest capital ship on completion. Renown served in both world wars, hosting conferences for world leaders and being extensively involved in the Atlantic, Arctic, Mediterranean, and Indian Ocean. The battlecruiser was scrapped in 1948.
