Hojo Samurai Clan Crest T-Shirt
The Hojo crest is called the "HOJO UROKO" in Japanese. Originally the Hojo were the cornerstone of the Kamakura Shogunate which fell in 1333. However, more than 250 years later, the Ise clan of Odawara assumed the name Hojo and the fabled crest as a sign of their power and prestige as Daimyo. These later Hojo were short lived fell after just a few generations in the later part of the warring states period.
