Hokusai lived from 1760 -1849 in Japan and is now considered one of the great masters of Japanese Woodblock print artists. It's obvious why, when you look at the vibrant details of his work. Nature scenes featuring mountains, water-falls and misty hills all add a distinctivve flavour to his legacy. This print is one of 100 created with a matching poem.
