Holden VF SV6 - Jigsaw Puzzle

Usually, I am drawing and painting landscapes, buildings and still-life pictures but occasionally I get a request for something out of the ordinary. A friend of mine had been hoping for some time to have an artwork created featuring his prized Holden VF SV6 and upon seeing my artworks decided to commission me to do a piece for him. While an object like a car can be more challenging to paint or draw than an organic shape, the same basic principles are involved. From the outset, I wanted to avoid simply creating a picture of a car and instead create a work of beauty. Light and color helped to achieve this.
