My mother made the quilt on this card in 2003. It was inspired by an illustration about the joys of spring, though to me it has a nice winter flavour to it, and feels more appropriate for New Year or the Winter Solstice. My favourite part is the row of embroidered birds -- so beautiful! The message inside reads: "Celebrate the joys of the season," but feel free to remove the text or customise the message.
