Holland Park Design (by William Morris) Case-Mate iPhone Case

This design features a high-quality photographic image of an original carpet designed by William Morris (1834–1896) for a property in Holland Park, London. Morris was a lifelong admirer and collector of fine historical carpets from various regions of the Eastern hemisphere. He had a particularly deep appreciation for and wide knowledge of Persian, Turkish and Chinese methods of carpet-making. The Holland Park carpet was woven at Merton Abbey in 1883, and it was made for Alexander Constantine Ionides (1810–1890), who was a British art collector and patron of Greek ancestry.
