Holstengate, Lubeck, Germany classic Photochrom Postcard

A magnificent, rare photochrom print of Holstengate, Lubeck, Germany. Photochrom or 'Aac process', is the process by which colourized images are produced from black and white photographic negatives via the direct photographic transfer of a negative onto lithographic printing plates. This gives it a great texture, depth and vivid colour richness which is eminent in our designs. This and many more vintage photochrom designs at our store.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
