Honu Sea Turtle Hawaiian Coordinates Indigo Bath Towel Set

Indigo Tonal and natural colorway. Ancient Samoan tapas are the inspiration for this primitive honu (turtle) design used in the Polynesian & Hawaiian cultures. These types of designs were often printed on aloha shirts & pareaus for traditional hula dancers. We took our turtle, distressed him, as he would appear when printed on tapa cloth, and allowed him to swim allover the ocean with his many friends. This pattern is featured on men’s neckties, bandanas, phone cases, laptop sleeves, home furnishings and more.

These are the most beautiful towels I have ever seen. The only thing is - I am too scared to use them. I am worried that the colour will disappear when I wash them!
