Natural and tonal indigo colorway. This pattern revised to an allover print of turtles. Ancient Samoan tapas are the inspiration for this primitive honu (turtle) design used in the Polynesian & Hawaiian cultures. These types of designs were often printed on aloha shirts & pareaus for traditional hula dancers. We took our turtle, distressed him, as he would appear when printed on tapa cloth, and allowed him to swim allover the ocean with his many friends. This pattern is featured on men’s neckties, bandanas, phone cases, laptop sleeves, home furnishings and more.
