A dark train tunnel from 1877 is nestled in a lush forest setting, with railroad tracks disappearing into its depths. The surrounding area is covered in autumn leaves, enhancing the natural beauty of the scene. This is the east portal of the Hoosac Tunnel in Florida Massachusetts. The tunnel runs 4.75 miles though the Hoosac Range to the western portal in North Adams, it is still in use today.
