Hope C Critchlow Ladies T-Shirt

Growing up in the Sourland mountains of New Jersey, Carol Critchlow spent much of her childhood first observing the flora and fauna of the forests surrounding her home, then capturing those images on sketch pads and canvas. She graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa, in Fine Arts Painting with University honours. Carol specialises in portraits which capture the subtle essence, the ‘inner self’ of her subjects which range from people to pets, florals, wild creatures, to now Hope, the bear cub. Much of her work is done in pencil or pen and ink, but she enjoys painting in oils as well. Her artistic vision of light, colour, and form also finds expression in floral arranging as an exhibitor for the last 15 years in the Philadelphia International Flower Show. She is also active in the conservation area of the Garden Club of America.
