Susan was one of the artists willing to donate her art to TPR. We asked Susan for a brief bio, here is what she told us: "I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I've always had a love for horses, so naturally they were a focus of my art. When I graduated from high school, I got a job working on the race track as a hot-walker and then a groom. I worked on the track for a year and then worked on a thoroughbred farm where I worked with young horses, preparing them for the track. I also worked with horses in need of some special attention. It was truly a rewarding experience. I did these sketches around that time." Thank you Susan, and to all the artists who have donated their art to TPR to help raise money and awareness for Responsible Racehorse Retirement.
