Hurricane Harvey Poster. At 4 p.m. Central Daylight Time on August 25, the National Hurricane Centre reported that Harvey had maximum sustained winds of 125 miles per hour and a minimum central pressure of 941 millibars. The category 3 hurricane was about 60 miles east-southeast of Corpus Christi, Texas; tropical storm force winds and outer rain bands were beginning to hit the Texas coast.
