People with rheumatoid disease (RD) / arthritis (RA) often feel like they must seem crazy or unreliable or lazy because of ways the disease changes what they are able to do. I often tell patients these three things, You are not difficult, or You are not unreliable, so I put them on a Facebook poster. Soon, I was asked to create a t-shirt inspired by the poster. Instead of “You are not” in my original poster design, the new Zazzle design says “I am” to personalise it more.
Blinds in the background suggest opening the window to the truth about RD.
