Hands are an important symbol in Antwerp. Legend says that the city got its name from a giant who cut off the hands of anyone that refused to pay his toll to enter the city. The name comes from the Dutch "hand werpen" which means "hand throwing". This funny design reads I love (or heart) Antwerp with a hand taking the place of the heart. Done in the colours of the Belgian flag. Great for anyone that loves Antwerp!
