Let’s face it, it’s tough to hoist the Jolly Roger, heave to and plunder a Galion when your dehydrated! Then came Grog! Encrusted with elaborate ritual in the Royal Navy; the crew waiting with anticipation for the boatswain’s mate to piped 'Up spirits,' the signal for the petty officer of the day to climb to the quarterdeck and collect the keys to the spirit room from an officer, and begin mixing the wonderful concoction of Rum and Water. Which is why for many it was better to be a Pirate then serve in the Navy! Show your love for this exlixer of the Pirate Gods. Green Bottle with skull and crossbones, and I love Grog in Red Text.
