Yes, your eyes are actually fooling you, there are no blinking black/white dots flashing in the intersections of the 100 squares... They are actually all white (and perfectly immobile)! It is a fascinating visual illusion (and it nearly killed us design it, we still see flashing dots...), and it makes this design seem alive and pulsating with a weird energy.
